James Harden has played in 96% of possible games since 2009/10.

I don't mean to be superstitious but can you pls keep it down.
We called Westbrook an ironman, then we called Wes Matthews an ironman, then we called Tristan Thompson an ironman. Pls no
And KAT, then he got in a car crash and has missed like 20 games the last two seasons
Maybe so, but this is a weird bit of PR for a dude who purposefully sat out the beginning of the season with Houston.
Strip clubs must be like the fountain of youth in Houston.
as great as Harden has been, its kinda crazy that Westbrook didn't miss a single game for the first 5 years of his career until Pat Beverley pulled that bullshit on him in the 2013 playoffs. With his style of play that's insane
I remember reading that before that injury he hadn't missed a game since maybe middle school, I'd have to double check tho. But that one injury was basically the catalyst for his constant knee/leg-related injuries thus far. Without it, he'd prob be 2nd on this list after Harden.
Fuck pat bev!!!! Okc had a good shot in the playoffs that year
Am i allowed to say fuck Pat Bev?
100%. He plays with a lot of passion and heart, but like there’s sometimes where u can see him intentionally hack the player he’s guarding, or even trip them up. Bit of a dirty player tbh
Man ain’t no passion and heart. Pat Bev trick y’all. He just be runnin around doin nothing
Everyone is allowed to say it unless he's on your team, then he's a scrapper.
Three former OK Thunder players. Coincidence?
[–]Grand Floridianjewelrybunny 26
DJ Augustin also spent a year with OKC tho
[–][LAC] Patrick Beverleyss2_Zekka 383
And most non Rockets fans still blame him for leaving lol... Dude played for Houston as if he was fighting for his life
[–]Trick_Confidence_419 333 指標 19小時前
Lotta ppl don’t realize his play style was the only reason they were in contention every year
[–]a_bag_of_potato 153 指標 19小時前
If CP3 didn't get injured....
[–]Trick_Confidence_419 99 指標 19小時前
1-27 too. Big ass choke job, unfortunately
[–]a_bag_of_potato 104 指標 18小時前
You can argue this wouldn't have happened with CP3 on the court. Half of those shots were contested. The rockets really needed a playmaker that night.
The Rockets also needed to not get fucked over by Scott Foster.
[–]Trick_Confidence_419 3 指標 14小時前
Ya I really wish harden won one for Houston. Cavs team was shit but If klove plays well in the finals they might beat Houston cuz Lebron was in god mode. Woulda been close for sure tho and Houston favored if cp3 plays most finals games
CP3 and playoff injuries, iconic duo
Got my fingers crossed this year with the reduced load on the Suns.
It's absurd people didn't realize this. Almost as if they weren't actually watching...
[–]Trick_Confidence_419 20 指標 16小時前
Or just listening to media narrative. Literally led the league in assists before dantoni was coaching. He’s so great that he can be as good as a overall point guard as he is a scorer
[–][HOU] Steve Francis2ToTooTwoFish 61
Bruh I think like 99% of the Rockets fans that were angry aren't even angry anymore. The only ones still mad at him and holding it against him are strangely non-Rockets fans.
[–]Rocketssorendiz 6
Agreed. I was upset for the initial period after he left cause i mean..... obviously it was a painful departure lol. But as soon as the immediate sting wore off it's all good, i want him to get the chip and the respect he's earned, and i have faith in him returning to h-town after a title or two (ideally fertitta has sold the team by then)
[–][HOU] Patrick BeverleyLunatic0nTheGrass 0
Hi, I'm a real rockets fan who is still mad at James Harden.
I know this may come as a shock, but demanding trades that mortgage our future and are obviously ill-advised at the time, then only giving it a year's shot, refusing to show up to training camp, trashing your teammates, actively quitting on your team on the floor, then saying the franchise is beyond repair only to completely deny having said anything disrespectful a couple of weeks later once you've gotten everything you want (yet again) actually isn't a good thing.
Rockets were done when they lost the 2019 golden state series. The wb/small-ball experiment was a desperate last stand, since their window was rapidly closing and Capela was out for the season.
[–][HOU] Patrick BeverleyLunatic0nTheGrass -1
Capela wasn't out for the 2019-20 season. What are you talking about there?
And it was definitely sold as a desperate last stand, but it was an obiously bad idea at the time as most rockets experts agreed and absolutely not necessary. There were many other options.
Rockets going on a 20 game losing streak after losing him is all the proof I need. He makes every team he's on playoff contenders.
[–]IIM_Clutch 4 指標 15小時前
When Harden first left they actually went on a win streak
We were still doing OKish with Wood. Not great, but not embarrassing ourselves. Losing Harden and then Wood on top of that was when everything went to shit.
[–]Celticsmutie_the_mailman 14 指標 18小時前
Now if he signs with Boston we could drop that number down a bit. We seem to have an amazing ability to sign previously durable free agents and break them.
Harden is the best carrier of bums the last decade. Unreal how he consistently got a top seed with the rockets while having 3 to4 gleague lvl players always. He elevates guys like crazy
That’s the main reason I felt he deserved MVP over Curry that first year. When you look at that roster and the injuries they had it’s insane Harden was able to lead them to 56 wins
2015 Curry deserved it. 2019 was the daylight robbery. A guy, missing his next two best players and playing with bench and G-leaguers, casually averages over 40 for 3 months straight to drag the Rockets into the playoffs, one of only 3 36+ppg players ever along with Michael Jordan and Chamberlain, and doesn't get MVP? It was the most insane carry performance of the last two decades, if he was beloved like Lebron or Giannis that would have been a unanimous MVP.
